Color blocks mean creating an outfit by
associating contrasting and contrasting, eye-catching and outstanding, blocks
of colors together. They are just about everywhere! But there number of
guidelines ought to be notice.
1. Don't dress a color-block print with
more darkness/lightness difference than naturally takes place between your
hair, skin and eyes. Bold blocks of cobalt blue and lime green will be
mind-boggling if you have pale skin and hair, as an example.
2. Don’t wear more than 3 colors. Lots of
colors will make you look too busy. More than 3 colors is too much going on.
Colors are supposed to make you look good and lighten up your skin complexion.
So, if you wear too much color, people might not see you, but rather the
colors. Especially if you wear intense colors.
3. Large-scale or attractively coloured
color-block prints can add volume to the figure. Think about your figure, as
this can be a silhouette plus or a huge mistake. Try the outfit on, stand 10
feet away from a mirror, and squint: If all you see is the distracting pattern,
have on something else.
4. Don’t wear the total monotonous look.
Even if it’s your favorite color, it’s boring and way too much. In France, we
use the expression “casser une couleur ” which means to break up the color. For
example, don’t wear a yellow jacket with a yellow t-shirt. Break it up with a
white t-shirt. It looks way better.
5. Choosing a color-block pattern or flower
print dress that has little to no value contrast, such as beige with camel,
can be a safer choice.
Color block got its own style, You've seen
the trend! But chances are, as much as you really like color blocking you've
been a little intimidated to try it yourself! It’s time to brighten your “
tenue” and add some colours that pop! ------http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Men-and-womens-clothing/174828639295579
